These dispensers are designed to be used with steel strapping. Steel strapping coils weigh about 100 lbs and are either mill wound (oscillated across a 2-½” face) or ribbon wound, with the coil face just as wide as the strapping itself. Steel was the first material used to make strapping, and there are a very large number of tools and seals available for use with it.
